Days 1-2 / Dublin – Galway – Bunratty – Limerick
Fly into Dublin and soak up the charming atmosphere of the quirky capital before meeting a Local Specialist for a sightseeing tour with views of Trinity College, St. Patrick's Cathedral and the stately Georgian Squares. The next morning, journey to Galway. See the stone cathedral on the banks of the Corrib. Explore Irish traditions and heritage during a visit to Bunratty Castle and its Folk Park. Travel to Limerick and see King John's Castle, St. Mary's Cathedral and the Treaty Stone before spending the evening at leisure.
Days 3-4 / Limerick – Cliffs of Moher – Killarney – Ring of Kerry
Learn about the history of the spectacular Cliffs of Moher during a visit to the "Atlantic Edge" exhibition and enjoy a picturesque coastal drive through the villages of Lahinch and Kilrush. Take a ferry ride across the Shannon estuary to the colorful town of Killarney. In the morning, circle the Ring of Kerry and see centuries-old stone villages, emerald green hills and vivid blue seascapes on a leisurely drive around the beautiful coastline.
Day 5 / Killarney – Blarney – Youghal – Waterford
Cross the rugged Kerry Mountains and visit the colorful market town of Macroom. Its origins as a meeting place for the Druids of Munster date back to the 6th century. Travel on to Blarney Castle and kiss the stone that bears its name. Stop in the historic seaport town of Youghal, once home to Sir Walter Raleigh.
Days 6-7 / Waterford – New Ross – County Wicklow – Dublin
Enjoy a Cultural Insight into the centuries-old tradition of crafting fine glass at the House of Waterford Crystal. Visit the three-masted famine ship Dunbrody and gain a Cultural Insight into the tragic plight of the Irish emigrants who fled the potato famine during the 1800s. Continue through County Wexford and the lush countryside of County Wicklow en route to a farewell dinner at Glenealy Farmhouse. In the morning, depart Dublin for home.
